To me, English is everything. It's an escape, it's expression, it's protest, it's an outcry, it's silence, it's anything in the world or out of the world that you could possibly want it to be.

Sitting down and reading a book is as exciting for me as having a night out on the town. Poems make me cry more than arguments or physical pain. This is my life. Nothing makes me happier than teaching English.

My name is Lucas Goodrich, I graduated with my teaching degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. I've actually lived in Kalamazoo for all of my life, I'm in love with Michigan.
